Thank you. I saw the Allman Brothers once. I was in my late teens and my memories of the show are fuzzy, because it was the 70s. I think they were great that night but could not swear to it on a court of law
I am a little too young (ha-I never say that now!) to have seen ABB in their heyday. But I saw the Allmans at Jazz Fest somewhere in the 1992/93/94 timeframe. It was, as you might imagine, packed. And everyone was feelin' fine. I also saw Gregg in Piedmont Park around 2007 w/ various parts of ABB and descendants (I think Derek Trucks played w/ him). He opened for Dave Matthews Band. I'm so glad I had those two experiences. It was magical.
